What Is Your Answer?

Our actions are answers to God! Have you ever thought about that? God calls us all to obey the gospel. He calls upon each of us to believe (Heb. 11:6), repent (Luke 13:3), confess our faith (Romans 10:9-10), and be baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38). He calls upon His children to live soberly, righteously, and Godly in our present age (Titus 2:12). He calls upon us to love one another as He loved us (John 13:34). We are to love the church and never do anything to hinder its growth and influence. We are to stand out in a positive way and let our light shine in this crooked and perverse generation. We are to abstain from every appearance of evil (1 Thess. 5:22). We are to practice pure and undefiled religion (James 1:27). We are to obey God no matter what (Acts 5:29)! How are you answering the Lord? Does He see you as someone who truly loves and obeys Him or as someone who simply gives lip service? (Matt. 15:8-9)
